Chefs, Congratulations to all that were involved with putting on the Regional Conference this past weekend!!! What a great event. We could have never pulled this off without all of the hard work from our members and especially our Junior members. Congrats to Chef Peter for WR Professional of the year, Chef Bernhard Gotz for Chef of the year, And UVSC Culinary Team including coach Peter Sproul for a well deserved 2nd place finish. I think we suprised the hell out of alot of people.

A special thanks to Dave Prows conference chair. Jason Talcot, Wendy Hunter, Dareq Wazir and all of the juniors who spent countless hours helping.

It is amazing what we can do when we all chip in and help out.

We continue to impress the rest of the ACF with our teamwork and by the quality of our members.

Also a huge thanks to all of the vendors who participated and helped us welcome the western states to ours.
We can all take a couple of days to rest but remember we have a big fundraiser on May 15th at the Marriot Hotel with Chef Todd Leonard this will also be a Huge Success I'm sure thanks to all of your willingness to help others.

Just want to reiterate what Chef Troy said. Outstanding conference! As you all know by now I have a huge amount of pride in what I do for a living, both as a chef and a member of the military. But I now have even more to be proud of as a member and board member of the best damn ACF Chapter in the USA!

Sure, us chefs did alot, but thats what we do. The real credit goes to our junior members. What an amazing, amazing group! I am so very proud to be associated with you. For those of you that got the opportunity to appretentice with the military you are a credit to our chapter. You would not believe the shear amount of praise that these seasoned chefs had for your drive and skill set; be proud!

Thank You and I am humbled to be in your chapter.
